Consistent income streams will keep Stewart House free of charge to the 1,600 children in need that attend each year. Children are provided with optometric, dental and medical treatment as well as emotional support. This is balanced with health and educational programs and out of school activities to boost their self-esteem and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Where will my donation go?
Children can only come to Stewart House by referral from their school principal, and every child who participates in our program does so free of charge. To keep our doors open and support the 1700 children who depend on our services every year, we need to raise $5 million.
Your regular donation ensures our program is accessible to all children in need across NSW and ACT public schools and is only used to cover the direct costs of children attending our 12-day program.
The cost for one child to attend Stewart House for one day is $130, or $1560 for the entire 12-day program.
This is made up of:
- Residential care = $60/day
- Healthcare and wellbeing = $30/day
- Accommodation, transport and catering = $40/day
